| Hello everyone I am a new member and a carer for my husband who has dementia, my daughter Lorraine is also a new member here, and has myesthenia and diabetes2, although she does not live with me. She works very hard when she is well enough helping me with my website, which is for carers, the disabled, family and friends from round the world. http://www.carers-healingspur.co.uk and also my very new message board which is now ready to accept registrations and welcomes carers and those with disabilities, family, and friends globally. Lorraine also has her own website and she amazes me with her strength and endurance. My husband has had dementia for five years and is thankfully still in the first stages, however he has some bad days when things are difficult to cope with, and behaviour can be unpredictable. Believing we are never too old to learn I took my qualifications to become a Neurolinguistic Practitioner in 2006 and although I am retired from employment I find this has helped me and also my husband, and family, there is much more about me, family, and lots of other interesting things that I hope many will find helpful, and to smile at on my website, although I am not disabled myself, I do have asthma, and arthritis, and dupuytrens contracture in my hands which as yet is not too bad, I am looking forward and will be very pleased to meet people as friends here. may God Bless you |
